Social and Political Issues.
Don't Ask Don't Tell
DADT has got to be one of the most bipolar political and social issues of the last few years. Not even Pam Anderson's tits have gone through so many ups and downs. Here's what's newsworthy right now.....
FACTS --

MY OPINION
One of the most dedicated, competent, and apolitical public servants of our day, Robert Gates, the Secretary of Defense (who, by the way, published a fascinating and illuminating autobiography), clearly believes that justice and morality define the character of the Armed Forces. Whether DADT repeal succeeds now or in the future, I am certain that history will reflect well on Gates' ideals and his courage to take the country forward to preserve the civil rights of gay men and women.
